We hope all Mothers of Brides and Grooms had a wonderful Easter.  Was it a good family celebration?

Le Chic Boutique recently exhibited at the Brands Hatch wedding show which attracted over 300 brides.  We exhibited our most popular Mother of the Bride/Groom and second time round collections including Condici, Maria Coca, Ann Balon and Linea Raffaelli which all proved very popular with the attendees.  It was great to meet other wedding professionals such as photographers, wedding organisers and cake companies offering a fantastic selection for brides.  We were impressed with how far in advance brides are planning their weddings, we spoke to some brides who were getting married in the summer of 2010!  The brides and their mothers were so impressed with our selection of outfits that we secured many appointments on the day and hope to see many of them in the shop in the future.

The wedding season is under way and we are getting busy after the festive season.

A lady from Surrey came in yesterday and said we had the best collection of Mother of the Bride outfits.  What Le Chic Boutique offers cannot be found in department stores or shopping centres.

We're open again after the Christmas break.  It's sometimes hard work feeding family and friends but it's wonderful to have such happy meals.  We had children around from both sides of the family which was delightful. 

A regular customer came in who couldn't find anything elsewhere.  I showed her a fabulous Ann Balon dress and jacket.  It was hot pink in stretch lace with beading.  She looked stunning like a model.  She bought the outfit for her New Year's eve party.

I found myself up early today queuing for the Christmas turkey, hoping to beat the queues.  It's a nice change from the Mother of the Bride work, which I did later.  I hope you all have most of your preparations done or get any last things tomorrow.
